Working with the data¶
These posts cover the practical side of the NHIS data, from merging the tables to the caveats that the official variable lists do not mention. They are written for researchers who are new to the data, and each post can be read on its own. The examples use the variable names of the National Sample Cohort 2.2, and the variable name crosswalk lists the names used in the other databases.
Researchers who have worked with the data are welcome to share what they have learned, and a post can be as short as a single pitfall. Send a draft in any format to sihopark@kdischool.ac.kr, as described on the contributing page.
